 Flying Kites

💚Flying kites is a popular pastime in our country. There are kites of different shape, color and sizes.

💚August is a best season for flying kites in sri lanka  because it is dry and windy.

💚Most children have their school holiday in august so they fly kites and have fun

💚They make different shapes kites.

💚Cobra and peacock shaped kites are most popular among children 

💚Making kites is very easily. Kites can be made using 

         👀Coconut leaflets

         👀Bamboo Sticks

         👀Tissue paper 

         👀Cotton twine

         👀glue

  

💚Kites are flown in open areas like paddyfileds, beaches, large fields.

💚The international kite festival and other competitions are held in Sri lanka annually. It is very colorful festival.

💚One such competition was held at the Duraiyappa Stadium in Jaffna 

💚 At present competition is held at Derana international kite festival 2019 in Nelligala.

💚Flying kites is most beautiful activity .I like it very much.😍😍😝
